International Artist Residency
Located in one of the hottest areas in Tel Aviv, Herzl 16 offers Room 25 as an artistic residency space.
Room 25 functions as both a studio and artwork. Selected artists are invited to transform the room itself as part of their practise through painting, installation, works on paper, sculpture, and experimental or interdisciplinary approaches. The room is provided as a dedicated studio, free of charge for two months, allowing the artist to focus on developing new work in the heart of Tel Aviv.
During the residency, small works will be offered for sale on site and directed by Unframed Art Collective. The residency concludes with a public opening event, presenting the work created in Room 25.

Shalom Hai
Shalom Hai (b. 1994, Jerusalem; lives and works in Tel Aviv) is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, sound, video, and installation. He holds both a BFA and an MFA, with honors, from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and completed a guest student program at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, Halle.
Hai is the recipient of several awards and grants, including support from the Independent Creators Fund of the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport (2026), the Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts (2026), the Young Artist Grant from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Prize for Excellence in Art from the Musia Tolman Foundation, awarded by the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, the Micha Kirshner Photography Award, and a support grant from the Ariel Municipal Cultural Society, Jerusalem.
In 2026, Hai presented the solo exhibition Stretch Marks at Barbur Gallery, Jerusalem. In 2025, he exhibited alongside Prof. Ido Barel in the duo exhibition One Two Mix at Beita Gallery, Jerusalem, as part of a flagship project of Bezalel’s Department of Fine Arts pairing senior faculty members with emerging artists.

Shir Cohen
Shir Cohen is an artist born in 1999 in Tel Aviv. In 2023, she graduated from Shenkar Multi-Disciplinary Art Department. Her work centers on exploring perception through sculptures and drawings, reflecting disturbances in her subconscious. Guided by grids, shapes, and colours, she transforms industrial materials into thought-provoking pieces. With a subjective touch, domestic objects lose functionality and become mental experiences. Cohen’s drawings depict human and animal creatures in enigmatic situations, displaying expressive freedom. Her art captivates audiences, inviting introspection into the complexities of perception.

Maria Pomidor
Maria Kroll is an artist working between the United Kingdom and Israel. Working primarily with textile, she uses thread, embroidery, and suspended fabric as spatial and emotional structures. For Kroll, textile is not only a material but a language, a way to hold memory, silence, and time within layered surfaces. As part of the artist duo Pomidor (founded in 2018), she explores societal silence and political visibility through hand-stitched text and textile flags. Her ongoing project SPEECH(LESS) reflects on suppression, public speech, and acts of resistance.In her individual work, she turns toward intergenerational memory and Jewish cultural continuity. With grandparents who spoke Yiddish, her grandfather from Poland and her grandmother from a Jewish shtetl in present-day Ukraine, she explores how restriction and displacement create density and connection rather than disappearance. Born in Russia and having made aliyah in 2022, her practice is shaped by lived experience of migration and layered belonging.
