About Unframed
Unframed Art Collective is an international curatorial and art advisory platform founded in Tel Aviv by Gemma‑Rose Stern‑Meiraz and Daniela Joy Tehranian.
Operating across Europe, Israel, and the United States, Unframed works at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture, hospitality, and lived space. The collective develops site-specific, narrative-driven art programs that extend beyond the traditional gallery model - placing artists within hotels, cultural institutions, private collections, and public-facing environments.
In its first year, Unframed curated multi-city exhibitions, advised private collectors, and generated six-figure private sales, while introducing new cultural formats that merge art with place, context, and experience.
The name Unframed reflects the collective’s core philosophy: presenting art beyond conventional frameworks - intellectually, spatially, and culturally. With curatorial roots spanning London, Tel Aviv, Milan, and Rio de Janeiro, Unframed bridges global artistic practices with local narratives, connecting artists, collectors, and institutions across markets.
Unframed represents a new generation of cultural leadership - focused on building long-term value for artists and collectors while reshaping how contemporary art is collected, experienced, and sustained.
Alongside its exhibition program, Unframed serves as curatorial advisors to leading hospitality projects, overseeing art programs and acquisitions, including Hotel Montefiore (Tel Aviv) and select international hotel initiatives.
The collective also runs an international artist residency at Room 25, Herzl 16 (Tel Aviv), providing artists with a platform for research, production, and public engagement within the city.
